Obituary for Elizabeth (Fate) Starr [01464]. Although probably not related to the family, Joseph Voisin [00021] may have immigrated from Canada with the Starr family.

Mrs. Elizabeth Starr
Mrs. Elizabeth Starr, who was nearly 91 years old, passed away Thursday January 21, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Albar, in Mt. Pleasant.
A resident of Isabella county for 60 years, Elizabeth Fate Starr was born in Ontario, Canada, January 23, 1853. After her marriage to Clements Starr in 1875, they made their home near Beal City. Mrs. Starr was a very active participant in community life, a faithful worker and member of the St. Philomena’s church, and a member of the Altar society for over 45 years.
Her husband preceded her in death three years ago and two of her children died in childhood. Surviving are: two daughters, Mrs. Julia Albar of Mt. Pleasant, and Mrs. Ida Engemann of Chicago; two sons, William, of Beal City and Arthur of Detroit; fifteen grandchildren and a host of other friends and relatives.
Funeral services were held at St. Philomena’s church at Beal City, Saturday, January 23, at 11 o’clock with the Rev. Fr. Zugelder officiating. Interment was mad in St. Philomena’s cemetery. Six grand children acted as pallbearers. Vern Crittenden was in charge of arrangements.
