Request to survey land for John Stewart [I00249] in Wheatfield Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, which would later become Buffington Township, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. Includes an affidavit signed by Joseph McCartney, an original settler of the area. John Stewart had occupied and improved the land since 1 September 1793.
John Stewart makes application for Three Hundred acres of Land on the waters of Black Lick adjoining Lands of Charles Stewart and Wm Shaff and others in Wheatfield Township Westmoreland County.
