010211: House Fire
16 September 1896
Newspaper account of a house fire at the home of John Galbreath Stewart [I00235] and Mary (McKee) Stewart [I00269]. John had died in 1894 and Mary eventually moved back to the town where she was born, Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania. The report indicates the house was unoccupied, probably meaning the family had already moved by 1896.
